Keep Summer Alive

In the G&T goes:

1 x shot of New Harbour Distillery Rooibos Gin

1 x 200ml can of Fitch & Leedes Indian Tonic

2 x orange peel (index finger size)

1 x stemless wine glass (300ml + in capacity)

How you make it:

  • Pour Gin into the glass;
  • Fill glass with ice;
  • Pour in tonic;
  • Squeeze orange peels over the drink to release essence in the peel;
  • Take the squeezed peel & run it along the rim of the glass;
  • Garnish with the squeezed orange peels.

BARTENDERS NOTE: Rooibos and orange are a match made in heaven. This G&T shouts summer all the way from its refreshing taste to it’s red summery colour.

Salt ‘n Pepper

In the G&T goes:

1 x shot of Hope on Hopkins Salt River Gin

1 x 200ml can of Fitch & Leedes Indian Tonic

  • Fill glass with ice;
  • Pour in tonic;
  • Garnish with some cracked black pepper;

BARTENDERS NOTE: The Hope on Hopkins Salt River leaves your pallet with a salty after taste. Try the drink with a sweet eat like preserved figs on a cracker.

Pickled

In the G&T goes:

1 x shot of Hendricks Gin

1 x 200ml can of Fitch & Leedes Indian Tonic

3 or 4 pickled grapes + pickling juice

1 x stemless wine glass (300ml + capacity)

How you make it

  • Pour Gin into the glass;
  • Add one or two teaspoons of the pickling juice;
  • Fill glass with ice;
  • Pour in tonic;
  • Garnish with the pickled grapes;

BARTENDERS NOTE: Adding the pickling juice gives the G&T added sweetness. If you aren’t a fan of sweet drinks just exclude the pickling juice.
